Thanksgiving Farm Share
We love this holiday--- a reason to cook seasonal food, and share it with loved one. Yes, we still are growing veggies... and we'd love to share them all with you!
This share costs $30, and will be offered only once on Saturday, November 22nd. This share will not be an order form, we will simply put a bin of goods together for you that equates to that $30 price point.
Pick Up: You have two options. VENNTURE BREW CO in MKE/Tosa between 2-7PM. Or at the FARM between 2-7pm. No Door Stop Deliveries this year, sorry! Please use the Sign Up form to select your pick up location.
We only have 40 spots, and are filled up at this time. You can sign up here to be on the Wait List.
We will also be at the Tosa Farmers Market on Nov 22. So if you don't get in here, we hope to still see you at the market!!
Here's what's included

Sweet potatoes (1.5#)

One Winter squash- butternut, kabocha or japanese futsu OR One Cauliflower

Greens- spinach, lettuce, kale, greens mix

Brussel Sprouts- 1#

Beets- 1.5# or 1 bunch

Carrots- 1.25#

Rutabaga

We may swap one of the above for kohlrabi, tomatoes or peppers if they're available.

Squash toasts with ricotta and cider vinegar
A tasty thanksgiving app using onions and winter squash. Paired with the crowd fave-- cheese. Love the tangy carmalized onions on top too

Winter Brussel Sprout Panzanella Salad
Let's be real, salads are never the Thanksgiving highlight. However, a panzanella salad feels more at home in the "stuffing" category. This recipe uses the sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, and onions. You can definitely add in beets too!

Roasting veggies on Thanksgiving just doesn't do it for me. I usually opt for trying something more unique. This year, I'll be going with beef stew. It uses rutabagas-- with is new for us this fall. Or opt for a root vegetable stew with puff pastry dough.
